Delivery Information
Our delivery charges are approximate. The first thirteen miles are on us, with a minimum order value of £60.00.
PLEASE NOTE: During peak times, delivery may take five to ten working days for delivery. We appreciate your patience.
Upon receiving your order, you will receive an automatic confirmation email. A team member will contact you within five to ten working days to arrange a suitable delivery date. The day before delivery, your selected product will be prepared and loaded onto the vehicle. Your order will be part of a delivery route, and its position on the truck—beginning, middle, or end—will depend on the planned schedule.
Some logs are sold loose & tipped, whilst others are sold in 1 tonne bags. Once loaded changing the delivery route is not feasible as it may affect other customers' orders. Therefore, any cancellations or rescheduling requests should be made at least 24 hours before the planned delivery date.
On delivery day, the driver will call you before starting their route. The vehicle will tip the logs at, or as close to, your desired location as possible. Please inform us of any access restrictions when placing your order. If you request your logs to be dropped on your driveway, ensure that it can withstand the weight of our fully laden vehicles, including drainage manhole covers. We cannot be held responsible for any damage caused under such circumstances.
It is your responsibility to move the logs to your log store.
After delivery, logs should be stored in a dry place. Stacking them ensures the drying process continues or maintains the condition of barn-stored logs. In bad weather, cover the logs with a tarpaulin or similar to keep them dry.
Payment
You can pay by credit card when ordering (online or by phone), or by cash or cheque at the time of delivery. For deliveries beyond 15 miles, we request full payment before delivery. If payment has been made in advance and we have instructions on where to tip the logs, you do not need to be present during delivery. If payment on delivery is chosen, ensure your payment is ready when the driver arrives. Cheques should be made payable to Woodshire Logs.
Return and Refund Policy
Upon receiving your order, please inform our driver or contact Woodshire Logs immediately if there are any issues or problems, and we will work to resolve them.
If you wish to return your order, it must be in a re-saleable condition. If not returned with our driver immediately, you must arrange for its return at your cost.
Refunds will be processed once the goods are received, and you will be notified accordingly.
